AnthroCon is just around the corner and we are now out at a friends place in Pittsburgh.

It's been a pretty big change from being in Cali of course. Really wish I had thought to start on a routine of allergy meds before getting here! < X D Most of the time at home in Cali I do have allergies, but its nothing toooooo major. But thats because (at least where I live in Southern Cali) the plants aren't all hopped up on moisture, nice temperature and the joy of simply being alive. I swear, flowers and grass grow on everything here! < X D There's a bunny on the lawn, bet he has flowers on him right now....

Anyway, now that I've managed to beat back the pollen with some claritin I've been having a pretty good time! We've been looking at houses which all look like they could potentially be made of delicious gingerbread shingles and playing some frisbee golf. (also something fun to do once the allergy meds kick in)

Aside from that and working on prep for the convention, we've been taking in some local eats. Lets see, so far we've gone to The Rose Tea Cafe, Chia, Tassarro's, Coca Cafe, Rita's, Dozen, and then some various street food vender's and shops. Hoping to visit Primanti Bros before we have to leave too. Saw it today, but the line was long as usual and we had just eaten... so yeah, I'll wait on having one of their giant sandwiches till another day.

So for now till the con its pretty much work time. I'm hoping to have something else small for the folks who come to AC to check out. ^^

Hopefully, if time permits, I can post a big collection of photos as one image of the states as we made our trip over here. Was quite a trip. I really felt like I got to see America. So yeah~ will share what I can from that soon. ^_^
